The latest movie has just been released by the name of Haseena. Haseena is a 2017 Bollywood film written, produced, and directed by Mani Ratnam who also co-wrote the story with Nadira Babbar. The cast include Adah Sharma, Sunny Pawar and Radhika Apte. This is not your regular love story you read in newspapers every other day. It’s more intense than that with intense emotions to go along with it. Haseena is a modern tale of love and how it happens. It is a story about a girl, who had been through hardship and she has lost all faith in love and life, but at a point in her life, she realises that people do have good intentions.The original soundtrack from the film was released on 8 June 2017 by Sony Music India. The soundtrack features six tracks composed by A. R. Rahman with lyrics by Gulzar, the album includes one instrumental track "Teri Yeh Yaara" composed by Prasad Shastri with lyrics written by Shabbir Ahmed. The music rights were acquired by Sony Music India for a release on 9 June 2017. The film released on 8 June 2017 across 302 screens in India. The movie earned a comprehensive nett collection of Rs.21.05 crore on its opening day, making it the highest-grossing opening for any Tamil film of 2017. In its second day, "Haseena" earned a gross of Rs 1.64 crore and became the highest-grossing Tamil film in Indian box office history surpassing Mohanlal's "Mohenjo Daro". It also became the first South Indian film to collect a total gross of above a billion rapidly ever since "Baahubali". The film had the highest opening of all Tamil films for 2017, with it earning about $3 million on its first weekend. The film went on to collect over $8.4 million in the United States and had a worldwide collection of about $14.2 million. "Haseena" is now the biggest-grossing Tamil film ever in North America, grossing over $10 million. The movie got positive reviews from critics. Saranya Padmanabhan of "The Times of India" stated that "[...]it's not formulaic or predictable, but it has enough depth to make you want to watch it again. It is a good, wholesome family drama that will leave you refreshed." Bollywood Hungama stated "[...]Haseena is quite a watchable film and it’s definitely worth watching; we’ll say it’s a movie that won’t disappoint."
